Welcome to the Clark Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization. The Clark PTO mission is to support student enrichment by fostering meaningful relationships among school staff, families, and the greater Charlottesville community. We host a variety of events throughout the year to raise funds for the Clark Education Opportunity Fund to help pay for field trips, library books, supplemental learning activities, and educational materials for the classroom. We are always accepting donations to support students and teachers.
Our school is located in the heart of Belmont, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Charlottesville, Virginia. During over seventy years of service as an elementary school, the staff has been committed to providing an education for all children that addresses the needs of the whole child. Currently, our staff serves pre-K through 4th grade. Represented in our population is a wonderful variety of cultures and family backgrounds. Also represented within our student population are a variety of needs, unique challenges, and incredible talents. The Clark staff is committed to addressing the unique characteristics of our students and families.
